On September 28th John turned 56 years old. Our family dinner was the Sunday before. No cake on that day because John had sworn off treats until September 28, not September 26!
He didn't get much but you just wait....
his big gift was still to come.
He gave himself a trip to San Francisco and I benefited from that gift too.
After three months of no treats his request was a Mounds cake, just like last year.
I got Almond Joys by mistake but he loves those too.
He assured me the cake was everything he'd hoped for!!
It wouldn't be right if we didn't have a small person help blow out candles!
